A mobile notary is a notary public, commissioned by their state, who will travel (for a varied fee) to your home or office to notarize documents ranging from wills and affidavits, to mortgage documents. Most mobile notaries public make a living traveling to clients homes to sign mortgage transactions. Notaries usually base their fee on the distance they must travel to meet with the client, and the laws specific to their state.

I don’t need a mobile notary, where do I look?

If you have a single document you need notarized, and do not require a mobile notary to come to you:

1. Try your bank. Most banks have a notary on hand, but usually only for their own customers
2. UPS Stores - All UPS Store types (Postal Annex, TheMailbox, all Private Mail Box stores) usually have a notary on staff. The notary may not always be working, but stores like this are plentiful.
3. Call a mobile notary in our directory and see if they allow walk-ins
